A Design Philosophy Rooted in Transparency
As designers, we translated this philosophy into the visual language of Manifest. We envisioned clean lines and minimalist packaging that reflected the purity of the ingredients within. Think of calming, earthy tones that evoke a sense of natural wellness, coupled with clear, concise labeling that empowers customers to make informed choices. Every aspect of the design, from the typeface to the choice of materials, would echo the brand's commitment to transparency and mindful living. In today's world, the pursuit of wellness extends far beyond just physical activity and diet. As designers, we increasingly recognize the impact that the products we interact with have on our overall health. This very notion served as the genesis for Manifest, a brand dedicated to clean cosmetics for a mindful community.
The Manifest Concept: Today is now, Manifest every day!
Manifest journey began with a personal quest for healthier living. We delved deeper into the world of clean beauty, only to find a landscape filled with ambiguity and a lack of transparency. The question arose: how could we create a brand that not only offered effective and luxurious products but also prioritized the well-being of our customers and the environment?
We envisioned a brand that resonated with individuals who understand the importance of what they put on their skin. We believe in the power of clean ingredients, formulated with meticulous care to nourish and revitalize the skin.
Logo Design & Typography:
Our initial explorations likely involved a variety of logo concepts. We might have experimented with incorporating natural elements or symbolic imagery that aligned with the clean beauty theme. However, we ultimately landed on a minimalist approach, believing that a clean and sophisticated logo would best embody Manifest's philosophy.
The final Manifest logo is a testament to the power of simplicity. It avoids unnecessary embellishments, allowing the brand name to speak for itself. This approach creates a timeless and versatile mark that can be effectively reproduced across various marketing materials and packaging designs.
Color Palette:
The color palette for Manifest serves a specific purpose. We intentionally chose white and black for their inherent simplicity and sophistication. White conveys purity and cleanliness, perfectly aligning with the brand's core values and the use of natural ingredients. Black adds a touch of elegance and luxury, elevating the everyday essentials into covetable items.
Web Design and UX (User Experience):
The Manifest website reflects the brand's core values – clean, sophisticated, and playful – through a captivating one-page scroll experience. Imagine a vast canvas of white and black, punctuated by pops of electric blue, creating a visually striking and refreshingly clean digital space. The primary color palette is a minimalistic masterpiece: black and white. This choice reinforces the brand's commitment to purity and simplicity. However, a vibrant electric blue is strategically used to create a sense of intrigue and add a touch of fun.
Since this is a presentation website, the user experience prioritizes brand storytelling over immediate sales. Clear and concise product descriptions and brand values are likely presented throughout the page. However, calls to action might be limited, perhaps directing users to social media channels or a central brand hub for further exploration.
Packaging:
Black and White Labeling with a Touch of Blue
We opted for a simple yet elegant approach for the Manifest packaging, prioritizing functionality and aligning with the brand's focus on clean beauty. The clean white base aligns with the brand's core color scheme and emphasizes the purity of the ingredients.
A touch of electric blue, strategically used on the label, injects a subtle dose of brand recognition and visual intrigue. This might be implemented in the form of the Manifest logo, a small geometric accent, or a highlight within the product name.
Focus on Clean Lines and Minimalism
The overall design prioritizes clean lines and avoids unnecessary clutter. We likely avoided extensive text or imagery, allowing the product itself and the black and white color scheme to take center stage.
